These terms govern your use of collectcompare.co.uk, operated by Collect Compare Ltd (“we”, “us”) — registered in England & Wales, company no. 16514658, registered office 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE. By using the site you agree to them.
Agencies are also bound by the separate Lead Pricing Terms they agree to when they register.
Collect Compare is a free comparison and introduction service. We help you compare vetted UK debt-recovery agencies and, if you choose, introduce you to one. We are not a debt collection agency, a law firm, or a provider of legal or financial advice. We do not carry out recovery ourselves.
Comparing agencies, being matched, and using the late-payment calculator are free for you. We’re paid by agencies when we introduce a lead to them — never by you, and never in a way that changes the order in which agencies appear. Agencies cannot pay to rank higher.
When you choose or are matched with an agency, we pass your enquiry and contact details to that agency and they contact you directly. Any agreement for recovery work is strictly between you and that agency. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for the services, fees, conduct or outcomes of any agency.
We check credentials, regulatory standing and track record before listing an agency, and remove agencies whose standards slip. Vetting reduces risk but is not a guarantee of any particular result — please do your own checks before instructing an agency.
The late-payment calculator and the letter it generates are provided for general guidance only and are not legal advice. Figures depend on the information you enter and on the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 applying to your debt. Check the details before you rely on or send anything.
Use the site lawfully and honestly. Don’t submit false information, others’ details without authority, or use the service to harass anyone or to attempt to disrupt or misuse the site.
We provide the site with reasonable care but “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for the acts, omissions or services of any agency, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
The Collect Compare name, branding, Tally the Tabby and site content belong to us and may not be used without permission.
